Sitting in the heart of Perth’s lively entertainment district, The Grid Bar is a new concept bar dedicated to bringing F1 and motor racing to all. How do they plan to do it? Through life-sized racing simulators right in the middle of bar.
The idea is unique, combining events such as birthday parties, corporate events, bucks parties and other with a shot of something different, allowing those attending to jump into any of the 8 race car simulators and select any of the 50 Grand Prix tracks to race on.
The selection of tracks has been programmed to be exactly as they are in real life and in such a way that any two or more players can race each other in any combination on any track. You can race one-on-one or in an eight-man free for all. The Grid have also made sure that the cars and life-sized pedals are adjustable and anyone of any size will be able to enjoy the experience together.
They plan to take things even further by creating regular tournaments, competitions and leagues. If racing is your thing, you might just become a regular.
Simulated racetrack driving isn’t all that’s on offer at The Grid, though. Live sports events from Fox Sports are shown on large screen TV’s and gourmet food is available fresh from the grill. Wash it down with a few of your favourite drinks, and a night at The Grid could be a winner.
Corporate events, birthday parties, bucks parties and any other celebrations will be able to book the place out exclusively upon request.
